The landscape of objects 2

Continuing with the still life painting in oils, working on quite a small scale to experiment with ideas. I have been looking at artists such as Ian Rayer Smith for inspiration in a similar way to the Making at a Distance Task with Josie in terms of not being able to be up-close with a painting at the moment. I am thinking about blurring the lines between representation and abstraction. Leaving an ambiguity to the subject. This seems to feel less controlled and gestural and capture the intuitive mark more than yesterdays work on the same subject. I think I could take this further taking forms from the home to abstract in this way. This way of painting feels natural to me.
