Progressing with painting for final pieces well. These five paintings represent just over four months work. The process of adding abstracting and subtracting paint evolves to reveal layers of visual understanding of the feel, weight, smell, sight and memory associated with objects. There is little which remains obvious now, except for the shoes which strangely don’t draw me in when I am working. Maybe that will change.
