Graduation Show

So far for the MA show I have the five paintings which make up a large painting. I also have fourteen plus smaller oils sketches, drawings and collages which make up my preparatory work for the large pieces but also are not recreated within the bigger work and stand alone as part of the project. I have the books, the larger original and a smaller version intended to be interacted with within the exhibition. There is also the possibility of having some of the objects present in the space.

I see the book and objects being displayed on a plinth perhaps with a covering (Perspex)

The book which is intended to be handled may be also on a plinth but open.

The large five-piece painting may be either on a straight wall which would need to be five metres plus wide to accommodate, or installed around an internal corner.

This was inspired by Abigail Reynolds, and her exhibition work below. This is also an idea for displaying the smaller pieces of which there are currently around fourteen.

I plan to get one or two framed to see how they look before the test space hang/ crit in 101 to discuss. I could see that perhaps two internal corners could accommodate both series in different ways. I will try this out with the work in progress in the studio and photograph to see how it looks.

The below images are the smaller works I am considering:

I am also considering the possibility of a coloured wall rather than white. All ideas up for discussion.
